The Curry family property represents a multigenerational land legacy that dates back to 1898, when Evangelist Emma Elizabeth Curry and Robert Milton Curry, Sr. acquired approximately 35 acres of land in King George County, Virginia. In 1929, Robert Milton Curry, Sr. conveyed approximately 7 acres of the property to his son, Robert Milton Curry, Jr.

Today, the property is identified by King George County as Tax Map Parcels 35-89 and 35-89A

The story behind HS-Venturers, LLC and the future HS-King George RV Community begins with more than a business idea. It begins with a family legacy rooted in land, faith, perseverance, stewardship, and opportunity.

The Curry family's connection to this land in King George County, Virgina, reaches back more than a century. Through generations, the property has remained an important part of our family's history and a reminder of the sacrifices, determination, and vision of those who came before us.

Today, descendants of the Curry family are working to carry that legacy forward through responsible planning and thoughtful development.

HS-Venturers, LLC was established with a vision to transform a portion of this multigenerational family property into a professionally managed RV community while respecting the character, history, and natural beauty of the land.

Our goal for HS-King George RV Community is to provide comfortable, affordable, and well-maintained longterm RV sites for individuals and families who value peaceful surroundings, dependable service, and a welcoming sense of community.

For us, responsible development means more than building RV sites. It means caring for the land, creating opportunities, operating with integrity, and building something that can serve both the community and future generations.

As we move through surveying, planning, engineering, permitting, and development, we remain committed to doing things carefully and responsibly.

About Us

The Legacy of Robert Milton Curry, Jr.

1895 - 1973

Robert Milton Curry, Jr., was born in 1895 in Westmoreland County, Virginia. In 1916, he was united in Holy Matrimony with Daisy Elizabeth Richardson Curry. Together, Robert and Daisy built a life centered on family, hard work, faith, and the land. In 2002, the County boundaries changed to King George County, Virginia.

Robert established his family home on the Curry property, where he built a modest four-room wooden house and worked the land to provide for his family. He raised farm animals to help put food on the family's table and sold meat in local markets, using the land not only as a home but also as a means of supporting his growing family.

Robert and Daisy became the parents of six children: Robert, Earl, Emma, Edward, Daisy, and Virginia.

On January 18, 1937, Daisy Elizabeth Richardson Curry passed away at the family home, leaving Robert to continue raising their young children and caring for the property.

Robert remained connected to the land and the family legacy for the remainder of his life. He passed away on April 18, 1973, at the age of 78.

Today, generations later, the Curry family's connection to this land continues. Through HS-Venturers, LLC and the vision for HS-King George RV Community, we seek to honor the perseverance of those who came before us by preserving the family's heritage, responsibly caring for the land, and creating opportunities for generations yet to com.
